Dankook University provides on-campus dormitories for exchange/visiting students at each campus. Securing on-campus housing is assured for all incoming exchange students who apply on time. Although residing on campus is not mandatory, it's strongly recommended for reasons such as safety, community building, and cost-effectiveness.
On-campus Dormitory
- Students select their accommodation type during the application stage. Guaranteed placement is ensured for those choosing on-campus housing in their online application.
- Residence on campus is optional, allowing students to choose to live off campus independently.
- Exchange students residing on campus will be accommodated in double occupancy rooms at Woongbi Hall for Jukjeon Campus and Danwoo Hall for Cheonan Campus. Single rooms are not available.
- All residents have a roommate and are asked about their roommate preference. While the housing office endeavors to accommodate preferences, it's not guaranteed.
Move-in and Move-out Dates
- Students can move into the dorm on the specified move-in date. Those arriving in Korea before the check-in date need to arrange their own accommodation.
- Students must vacate the dorm by the designated move-out date and are unable to extend their stay for any reason. After final exams, early departure is permitted.
- Students staying for two semesters must reside in the dorm during the break between semesters and are not permitted to leave the dorm for any reason. This doesn't restrict travel or returning to their home country but means students must stay within the campus dormitory.
